Dark blue swimming trunks made from recycled polyester from Bluebuck

Our recycled polyester swim trunks are SEAQUALTM and GRS (Global Recycle Standard) certified. The marine litter is first collected at sea by fishermen and several environmental organizations along Europe's coasts, before being recycled and made into yarn in Spain and woven in Portugal. The cut of our swimming trunks is comfortable, not too tight and not too big.

The high-quality cotton for the underwear is grown organically, so no synthetic fertilizers are used, which degrade soil quality and promote the release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

Better organic soil quality ensures that the soil also retains water better, which reduces water consumption.

When the harvest is ready, the cotton is harvested by hand rather than using heavy, environmentally damaging machines.
Unlike many brands that are "Made in Europe", which usually just refers to where the product is assembled, all components are produced in Europe. The fabric is knitted, then cut and assembled in Portugal, with the organic cotton coming from Turkey. Even the finer details are produced in Europe: the cuffs are made in Austria and the labels are designed in Italy.
After packaging, all products are transported by road, which causes around 75% less CO2 than gas-guzzling aircraft.

By harnessing wind, solar and hydropower, Bluebuck products are manufactured with minimal impact on the environment. 75% of the electricity used in the Austrian factory and 50% in our Portuguese factory comes from renewable energy sources.
